Both 8th Grade and Senior Scholarship Applications are provided in fillable formats. Please enter all information online, proof, then print to sign and attach required documents. Do not handwrite the information in the application, the list of school and community or the personal statement of no more than 100 words. All of that information must be computer-generated. Those documents, as well as transcripts/grade reports must be submitted by the respective deadline. No additional documents, artifacts, photos, covers or folders will be accepted. Handwritten and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. All documents must be in hard copy. Electronic storage devices (flash drives, thumb drives, discs, etc.) will NOT be accepted. There will be NO computers or printers available for use in the Foundation Office at either Finals. Applicants must arrive prepared to submit hard copies of the application and supporting documents by the deadline.

ProRodeo Hall of Fame Western Heritage Scholarship – in the amount of $500 Additional Application Requirement: In addition to the NHSR Foundation Scholarship application requirements you must submit an additional 250 word (minimum) essay answering the following question: “In what ways do I live my life daily that exemplifies Western Heritage and shows that I am a role model for the cowboy lifestyle and symbolize ethics, responsibility, honesty, pride, hard work, fairness and trust?” · Turn your Western Heritage essay in to the PRCA booth in the Trade Show to be eligible for this scholarship. All of the activities of the National High School Rodeo Foundation are outlined in these two informational flyers. The Foundation Scholarships are made possible through fundraisers at both the NJHFR and the NHSFR. Associations and contestants are asked to assist in these endeavors by donating items for the Daily Silent Auctions in the Wilson County Expo Center at the NJHFR in Lebanon and the Live and Silent Auctions in Energy Hall at the NHSFR in Gillette. Volunteers are need to assist with selling 50/50 tickets at the NJHFR and interviewing senior scholarship applicants at the NHSFR. All assistance is appreciated!
On of the premier fundraisers of the National High School Rodeo Foundation is the annual golf tournament. This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, at the Gillette Golf Club, just right down the highway from Cam-Plex. Registration and lunch begin at 12:00 noon with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Individual registration is $100 per person and teams are $400. Register early as teams are limited! Hole Sponsorships are available for $250.
